Fresh Tomatillo Salsa

Ingredients
  • 8-10 fresh tomatillos
  • ½ cup sweet onion
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, to taste
  • 1 serrano chili, to taste
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp lime
  • 1 tsp sea salt, to taste
Instructions
  1. Dry roast the tomatillos in a hot cast iron pan for a couple of minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool..
  3. Chop the tomatillos and add them to a food processor. Pulse for 10 seconds.
  4. Once liquified, add the remaining ingredients and pulse for a few more seconds.
  5. Taste and you may want to add more salt and serrano chili for some extra spice!
